Jaipur, 10 August, 2019: Nagarro, one of the leading IT consulting and services companies in the country, partnered with The Pink Pedals, a Jaipur based cycle rental and micro mobility organisation to launch a cycle station within the premise of Mahindra World City to promote usage of non motorised transportation. In order to bring out the zeal of employees, they organised a slow peddlers cycle race in SEZ Mahindra World City today. The race was held with an aim to promote environment friendly attitude and inculcate the habit of active commuting among people. The idea behind this cycle station in its premise is to encourage its employees to adopt commuting by cycle and contribute maximum towards reducing carbon footprint.
Sharing his thoughts at the event Mr. Kapil Suri, Vice President, Nagarro said, Nagarro encourages its employees and public-at-large to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle and organises and supports several walkathons, cyclothons and marathons. In line with these efforts, we have set up new cycle station at its office in SEZ Mahindra World City to encourage the use of cycle among its employees as a means of sustainable transport.
Nagarro rigorously advocates green and smart commuting and has undertaken several initiatives towards this cause. It has set up cycle stations across its offices in Delhi NCR, Bengaluru and now in Jaipur to promote the concept of a sustainable workplace.
