Wepsol, a technology-led managed services company, showcased its secure
and intelligent Managed Print Services (MPS) capabilities at the BFSI 2030
Summit, hosted by the CIO Association, Rajasthan Chapter, at The Lalit, Jaipur.
Held under the theme “Building Intelligent, Inclusive, and Compliant
Enterprises,” the summit brought together more than 100 C-suite leaders and
senior decision-makers, primarily from banking, NBFCs and financial services,
alongside leaders from industries including manufacturing.
At the summit, Wepsol brought attention to an
often-overlooked dimension of BFSI information security: the print environment.
While financial institutions have significantly strengthened their digital
security, sensitive customer and financial information continues to be printed
every day. Without the right controls, these documents can be left unattended,
accessed by unauthorised individuals or remain completely untracked. Wepsol’s
solution addresses this gap through PIN-based secure printing, ensuring
documents are released only when an authorised user authenticates at the print
device.
“In BFSI, information security cannot
stop at the digital screen. Protecting information also means knowing who can
access it, right down to the moment it becomes a physical document. For more
than two decades, we have worked with enterprises to bring greater security,
visibility and control to their print environments, because what organisations
cannot see or measure is difficult to govern,” said Nisar Shah, Executive
Director, Wepsol.
Beyond security, Wepsol demonstrated how
centralised print monitoring can give BFSI organisations greater visibility
into print volumes, usage patterns, wastage and device-level activity, enabling
consistent control over cost, policy and efficiency across locations. AI
further strengthens this approach by identifying opportunities for measurable
savings. In one engagement with a large financial institution printing nearly
60 million pages annually, Wepsol’s AI-led analysis identified a simple but
high-impact opportunity: changing the default from single-sided to duplex
printing. Implemented in a single day, the change reduced printing costs by
approximately 30 percent while also lowering paper consumption and supporting
more sustainable operations.
As BFSI organisations accelerate their shift
towards digital workflows, the printer is no longer simply an output device.
Modern print environments can print, scan, digitise and route information
directly into digital systems, making them an increasingly important part of
the enterprise information journey. Wepsol’s MPS approach—combining secure
printing, authentication, centralized monitoring and policy management is
designed for this convergence, reflecting a broader shift from managing
individual devices to governing information across the enterprise.
With more than two decades of experience in Managed Print Services and a strong presence across BFSI, Wepsol’s participation at the BFSI 2030 Summit reinforces its focus on helping financial institutions build print environments that are more secure, compliant, efficient and sustainable extending intelligent information governance beyond the screen and into every stage of the information lifecycle.
