Jaipur's gautam kumawat gets Karamveer Chakra Award

Jaipur, October, 2019. At 23, a youth would be expected to be preparing for government jobs or striving for campus placements. But Gautam Kumawat has much bigger dreams of securing cyberspace and fighting against cyber criminals.

The young cybersecurity expert Gautam has also helped various State Police, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Ministry of Defence, INTERPOL and other law enforcement agencies in solving complex cybercrime cases, training their officials in handling cyber operations, combating cybercrimes with actionable intelligence and enhancing law enforcement capabilities. By his venture HackingFlix, students across the world are getting benefited from his experience through online training sessions and courses.

Because of his contribution in strengthening the law enforcement agencies and impacting millions of lives, Kumawat felicitated by the prestigious Karmaveer Chakra Award and REX Karmaveer Global Young Leaders Fellowship on 12-13th October at IIT Delhi. In 2015, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the former President of India was also awarded by Karmaveer Chakra, Lifetime achievement award.

The Karmaveer Chakra Award was instituted by Indian Confederation of NGOs (iCONGO) in partnership with the United Nations (UN). This award aims to recognise proactive voluntary action to Be the Change. The REX Karmaveer Global Young Leaders Fellowship (GYLF) has been delivered to the people across the world who are change-leaders for better and safer world in their respective fields of life.

Gautam Kumawat has contributed to society as an Ambassador of Kalam Library initiative, which is aiming to setup the library in slum schools. The mission is an optimistic fight to empower the young Kalams of India with the power of education. This mission has strengthened the thousands of roots of childhood and motivated them towards learning.

This year, he is also conferred with Youth Inspiration Award by the Centre for Peace Studies (CPS), Sri Lanka and Peace Research and Development Foundation (PRDF) for achieving milestones after milestones at short span of time. This was awarded him for optimal utilization of available resources and converting them into bigger assets, and then setting an example for the younger generation.
