Jaipur, 15th November, 2019The three day long National Convention of Company Secretaries which kicked off in Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre, on 14th November 2019 witnessed to some of the finest intellectual discussions and sessions on its second day as well.

Some of the eminent speakers included- Mr. Rajiv Roy, professor XLRI Institute of Management, Mr. Binod Kumar Homagai, Co founder, Wow Momos who participated in various panel discussions and shared their valuable knowledge on the different topics. 

It’s an annual mega congregation not only for the Institute but for each of its members, students and stakeholders. 

 

The annual mega congregation is being organised on the theme ‘Empowering New India – Reform, Perform, Transform’. The various Technical Sessions of the National Convention are based on the various aspects pertaining to the thought and idea of the core theme.

 

The second Technical Session of the 47th National Convention of Company Secretaries focused on the sub-theme Start-Ups: Modern Catalysts of Growth and development. With the addition of more than 1000 start-ups in the country on an year-on-year basis and employment opportunities being created both directly and indirectly by these entities, the discussion focussed on the future of Start-ups and the emerging role of professionals therein. 

 

The third Technical Session of the 47th National Convention of Company Secretaries focused on the sub-theme Emerging technologies and Artificial Intelligence: Boon or Bane. The session deliberated upon the probable impact of Artificial Intelligence in the long-term; and also in the professional scenario.

 

Apart from these technical sessions a Panel Discussion was held on the topic ‘Leadership Beyond Gender’ with the aim of gaining an understanding the realities of gender equality and how women from different backgrounds have portrayed strength to achieve positions of leadership.
