Ajmer,
April 29, 2020: Ryan International Group of Institutions, one of India’s
leading K12 education institutes is successfully conducting online yoga classes
and other engagement activities for their students amidst the lockdown
situation.
The
thought behind conducting online yoga sessions is to inculcate healthy living
practices even in the challenging times of home quarantine. The online yoga
sessions cover different yoga asanas, pranayam and meditation. Apart from
virtually practicing yoga, children are also being enlightened to the
importance of yoga and its mental and physical benefits. An entire schedule of
engaging activities other than yoga has also been instilled to motivate
students to perform productive and recreational activities when at home. The
school conducts activities like online music classes and live arts & craft
sessions for students of different grades.
The
Ryan International school has already started their online e-learning programme
from Pre-primary Grades to Grade X and XII, and this dedicated online
engagement initiative helps to keep the learning process of the students
consistent not only from an academic point of view but also from an overall
mental health perspective.
Ryan
Group's online engagement initiative has been appreciated by the students as
well as the parents. Some parents also mentioned that they accompany their
children and join them during the live yoga sessions. Both the parents and
children are thoroughly enjoying this quality time that they are spending
together as a family.
"We
are happy that our students and parents are appreciating our efforts. Our
constant endeavour is to take care of our student’s mental and physical
well-being in this tough and emotionally stressful time. Through the virtual
yoga class and other engagement activities we want to promote a healthy
lifestyle and ensure productive use of time for all our school children."
