Paatal Lok-Key Art
Mumbai, May 12, 2020:
This week, Amazon Prime Video brings the
latest entertainment across genres and languages. The third Indian Amazon
Original offering of the year, Paatal Lok, is all set to premiere in India and in more than 200
countries and territories on 15th May. Produced
by Anushka Sharma’s Clean Slate Filmz, the highly anticipated nine-part
crime-drama revolves around Inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary, a washed-out Delhi
cop, who is given charge of an extremely high-profile case. The case turns out
to be a devious maze where nothing is what it seems on the surface. This, in
turn, leads Chaudhary down a treacherous path that leads straight to the
dangerous alleys of the netherworld - Paatal Lok.
Starting 17th May, Prime members can stream the latest adapted screenplay of Stephen King’s Doctor Sleep. A worthy successor to the classic horror movie The Shining, the film, directed by Mike Flanagan, is a tribute to the best-seller written by author Stephen King. The sequel picks up a few decades after the events of the first movie where Danny, now grown up, is seen struggling with his childhood traumas. The film stars Ewan McGregor in the lead, along with Rebecca Ferguson, Kyliegh Curran, among others.
Stay entertained by binge-watching the latest four-part Amazon Original, The Last Narc, a myth busting crime docuseries examining the 1985 kidnap and murder of DEA Agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena in detail. All episodes of the gripping docuseries will be available starting 15th May, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
Prime members can now stream the latest Punjabi drama title Rabb Da Radio 2 starring actors Tarsem Jassar, Simi Chahal and Tania, a few months after its theatrical release.
Highlights
A down and out cop gets the case of his lifetime when
four suspects are nabbed in the assassination attempt of a prime-time
journalist. The case turns out to be a devious maze where nothing is what it
looks like. The pursuit of it leads him to the dark netherworld - the Paatal
Lok, and shocking discoveries about the past of the four suspects.
Highly decorated special agent

murder. He peels back the myth and propaganda layers to reveal the
bone-chilling truth about a conspiracy that stretches from the killing fields
of Mexico to the halls of power in Washington, DC.
After a few years following the events of The
Shining, a now-adult Dan Torrance, must protect a young girl with
similar powers from a cult known as The True Knot, who prey on children with
powers to remain immortal.
