Seeking inspiration from the upcoming Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, NCR-based Trehan Developers, who have already inhabited 200-acre township ApnaGhar Shalimar' in Alwar, initiated the construction of a Ram Temple in this very township '

The design of the temple, which is being built on about four acres of land in the 'ApnaGhar Shalimar' township, is inspired by the original Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The floor plate of the temple will be around 11,000 sq. ft.

The large township developed by Trehan Developers is a perfect example of inter-faith harmony with temples, a mosque, and a Gurdwara.

“We are targeting to complete the temple by the first half of 2023. We are looking forward to inaugurate the temple on the auspicious day of “Ram Navami” in the year 2023,” said Harsh Trehan, chairman, Trehan Group.

The construction of the Ram temple is expected to cost around Rs 15-20 crore. The temple complex will have big halls for functions like marriages besides residential units for priests and shops selling devotional items and puja offerings.

The intricate stonework and the temple's huge compound wall too will be the center of attractions for visitors. An effort is being made to narrate the entire Ramayana through 78 murals on the compound wall.

With beautiful landscaping, a 51-feet idol of Shri Hanuman facing the temple with folded hands, and well-manicured lawns, the Ram temple in Alwar is likely to become a major tourist destination in the near future.

The developer is also focusing on creating international standard sports facilities in the township. Besides a world-class cricket academy, the township will have Alwar's only badminton academy.

This integrated township will also have an old-age home, and a school, in addition to a host of other facilities. 

The developer is currently focusing on its newly launched plotted developments in the surrounding area and luxurious residential tower-Amrit Kalash in Apna Ghar Shalimar township.

Trehan Group has delivered over 10 million square feet of residential real estate since 1989. It has completed 16 projects and so far delivered more than 12,000 units.
