More than thirty Jaipur retailers, sector influencers, and brands had an intimate and thought-provoking discussion on retail trends shaping the future of retail at the 3rd edition of Ginesys Connect held in the city. During the event, Ginesys, launched Ginesys One, a one-stop technology suite in the Rajasthan market as a key solution for Omni-retail.
The
Ginesys Connect event aims to bring together the retail community, to discuss
state-of-the-art digital solutions and to deliver immersive, omni-channel customer
experience. The panel discussion was marked with the presence of Mr. Abhijit
Banerjee of StratCap Advisory, Mr. Saurabh Bairathi MD of Bairathi
Shoes, Mr. Ankit Vedi founder of XimiVogue, Mr. Ankit Palawat founder of Zari
Jaipur and Mr. Shankar Hemrajani founder of Sweet Ginger. The evening
started with an inspiring speech by Mr. Nand Kishore Chaudhary, founder Jaipur
Rugs. He motivated everyone to sell stories not products, keep a firm check on
quality and support suppliers. He spoke about how he believed in his passion
wholeheartedly and did not give up during tough years to reach the pinnacle of
success. He felt that Indian retail brands can definitely go global if designed
with the right mix of global and local ethos. His products are being exported
to US and Europe and his weavers and designers have won international design
awards.
Speaking at the
event, Mr. Harsh Nahata, COO Ginesys, said “As
retailers are shifting to omnichannel
models, a seamless user experience would become a key priority for the industry,
especially with cloud and AI technologies becoming common-place. Not all
retailers have access to the same level of information. With Ginesys Connect we
want to create a platform to disseminate such knowledge, share case studies and
best practices. The insights from the session will help shape the Ginesys One
technology suite.”
At the overall leveal the attendees confirmed that the event is a much-needed platform to discuss the retail industry's best practices and concluded with the fact that simple easy-to-use and well-integrated technology is the need of the hour for omnichannel retail. The attendees agreed and echoed the sentiment that Indian brands can go global with low-cost but high-quality manufacturing done in India.
