MSDE Empowers Tomorrow’s Healthcare Leaders: Over 80 Graduates Receive Prestigious Certificates in New Delhi

New Delhi, November 23, 2023.

In the presence of the Hon'ble Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India (GoI), Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, over 80 candidates were presented with Healthcare Sector Skill Council certificates on 22nd November 2023, during the convocation ceremony of competent healthcare professionals in New Delhi.

The students have been trained with the CSR funds of SBI Cards India Limited.

Mr. Ashish Jain, CEO, HSSC, CEO of NABH Dr. Atul Mohan Kochhar, Executive Member of NCVET Dr. Vinita Aggrawal, EVP of SBI Cards Ms. Anita Sontumyra, Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee Dr. Ravi Gaur, Director of Valeur FabtexPvt. Ltd. Mr. Harsh Chamaria, and other dignitaries were in attendance at the convocation ceremony.

A total of 360 applicants were taught under the programme in three locations—Sadiya and Silchar in Assam and Gurgaon in Haryana—for a variety of job responsibilities, including General Duty Assistant (GDA - Advance), Phlebotomist, Medical Dresser, and others.

Over 70% of participants nationwide have been placed through the programme with success.

The Hon'ble Secretary, MSDE, Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, asked students to continue their education by accumulating credit points under the National Credit Framework Scheme. To use the digital learning option, he advised students to download the Skill India Digital Portal. He also advised employers to register on the JobX portal and register their demands.

He counselled students to concentrate on their overall development because it is essential to their advancement as professionals to be compassionate to patients.

He applauded the contribution extended by the industry partnersof Skill India and complemented Healthcare Sector Skill Council (SSC) for its good work in creating a skilled healthcare workforce.
