Jaipur, 23 January 2024.

Girnar Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of CarDekho Group, in collaboration with St. Joseph Academy School, organized an awareness session on feminine hygiene and distributed sanitary napkins in Barkat Nagar, Jaipur. The session focused on feminine hygiene & distribution of hygiene kits to promote women's well-being. Simultaneously, Girnar Foundation organized an educational session emphasizing the importance of quality education & upskilling to help individuals in making informed choices about their future.

Earlier this month, the foundation facilitated a donation drive for blankets in the slum areas of Jaipur, extending its support to the community. These initiatives are in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) adopted by the company, specifically UNSDG 3 for good health and well-being, and UN SDG 4 for quality education.

As a part of  the awareness session, the Foundation reached out to over 200 students, emphasizing the essential Dos and Don’ts of feminine hygiene alongside the distribution of hygiene kits. The same students also got enlightened by the career counseling.

During the same month, blankets were distributed to more than 500 individuals to help them combat the cold winter. The success of both initiatives underscores the significance of corporate responsibility and community development in catalyzing positive change.
