National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) withIndian Institute of Technology (IIT),Guwahati andAcciojob to launch a first of its kind microcredit cybersecurity and data analytics program to build top-tier skilled professionals in India.

It allows the Yuva Peedhi from different corners of the country to access top-tier education from a prestigious institution like IIT Guwahati conveniently that contributes to accelerating the transformative and localized impact on the society at large. The MoUs were exchanged between Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO, NSDC and MD, NSDC International and Yashwardhan Burad, CEO, Acciojob.

It stands as a unique example of partnership between private and public organizations, provides students practical knowledge on the use of tools and technologies in cybersecurityand prepares them for Future of Work. It simultaneously also helps in identifying, preventing and mitigating cyber threats effectively and meets the growing demand for skilled professionals across sectors. Additionally, it allows the students to seamlessly transfer the credits to degree programs in line with the NEP 2020 and empowers them topursue a thriving career in the industry.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO, NSDC and MD, NSDC International said, “NSDC has undertaken multiple initiatives to spearhead the benefits of certification programs in emerging technologies  to make youth employable and future ready. The collaboration with Acciojob is a significant step in this endeavour. The pioneering initiativewill play a significant role in leveraging the skills of the youth to protect digital assets and safeguardsensitive information and lays the groundwork for a secure and resilient digital future for all.

Under the partnership, students will gain access to industry-first curriculum that is tailored to meet the needs of today's job market.All the courses will be conducted through online training sessions led by esteemed faculties from IIT Guwahati. It will play a pivotal role in enriching their learning experience, developing networking opportunities and broadening meaningful employment opportunities.
