The Waterproofers Association of India (WAI) – North Zone Chapter proudly announces a WAI Certified Training Programme on Basement Waterproofing, scheduled for 3rd and 4th May 2025 at Hotel Holiday Inn, Jaipur.
With a focused approach on enhancing industry standards and empowering professionals, this two-day training is designed to equip 35 selected participants with deep technical knowledge and hands-on insights into basement waterproofing systems. The course will be conducted by leading industry experts and trainers with decades of field experience.
The
curriculum will cover
Product selection strategy
Surface preparation best practices
Application techniques for Liquid
Applied Membranes, Preformed Membranes, Polyurea, Polyurethane, and Elastomeric
coatings
Use of injection grouting, repair
systems, and accessory materials
Understanding warranties, system
integration, and quality assurance
Speaking
about the initiative, Mr. Sandeep Chaudhry, President of WAI and Mr. Pankaj
Agarwal, President, WAI - North Zone , said:“As India

design, the role of correct waterproofing becomes paramount. Unfortunately,
basement waterproofing failures are common due to incorrect specifications or

The
WAI training model is unique—it is brand-agnostic, technology-inclusive, and
deeply rooted in practical realities. Participants will also undergo an
assessment, and successful candidates will receive a WAI Certification, an
industry-recognized endorsement of competence and credibility.
