Dharav High School,
Ajmer Road, hosted the much-awaited Dharav Utsav 2025, Jaipur’s biggest
cultural festival celebrating the richness, artistry and heritage of Rajasthan.
Held on the sprawling school campus on November 21–22, the festival brought
together art, tradition, innovation and community spirit under the
vision and guidance of Ms. Devyani Jaipuria, Chairperson, Seating was
reserved for Indian Air Force and Army officials in recognition of their
remarkable service to the nation,
The Utsav began with an inspiring inaugural ceremony graced by Shriji Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, whose presence added immense enthusiasm to the celebration. His interaction with students and faculty set the tone for a meaningful cultural experience. This was followed by a special fireside chat featuringShriji Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar and bestselling author Akshat Gupta, who spoke about heritage, leadership, storytelling emphasizing the importance of staying rooted in one’s values.
Another highlight of Day 1 was “Suron Ka Utsav,”Jaipur’s biggest live Sufi concert featuring the renowned singer Javed Ali, whose soulful performance left the audience spellbound. The festival also featured thought provoking sessions with eminent personalities such as inspiring fireside chat with Srikanth Bolla and Shailesh Lodha encouraging students to pursue courage and possibility. The second day highlight will be Ankur Warikoo’s session focusing on entrepreneurship and life lessons.
The two-day festival offered an immersive blend of literature, performing arts, cultural showcases and creative workshops. Visitors experienced the Utsav Haat, where traditional crafts such as blue pottery, mud pottery, lac bangles, Phad painting, Usta art, Bagru block printing, and NathdwaraPichwai painting were demonstrated through free student workshops. Folk and cultural performances by the Dillu Rajasthani Group and the Langa Folk Singers of Rajasthan added rhythm and vibrancy to the celebration, while Swaad Ka Utsav served as a culinary journey through Rajasthan’s flavours. With over 80+ stalls and more than 20,000 visitors, Dharav Utsav created a lively environment celebrating Rajasthan’s cultural spirit.
Speaking about the
event, Ms. Devyani Jaipuria, Chairperson of Dharav High School said, “Dharav Utsav is our way of
celebrating the cultural soul of Rajasthan while giving children a platform to
learn, participate and express themselves. Seeing the joy, curiosity and
confidence in our students has been the most rewarding part of this festival.
Their energy truly brought the Utsav to life, and we are proud to create an
environment where learning goes beyond classrooms and becomes a shared
community experience.”
All proceeds from Dharav Utsav 2025 will support RJ Corp’s CSR initiatives, including Shiksha Kendra and the Pravah Skill Development Centre, both of which have positively impacted thousands of underprivileged children through education and vocational training.
