Hyderabad: 11th November 2019: UrbanClap, India’s leading home services marketplace, celebrated its 5th anniversary on Sunday, 10th November. The company wanted to celebrate this milestone by giving back to mother nature by organising cleanliness and plantation drives in 5 cities in India, which includes Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune and Bangalore.
Through this activity, UrbanClap hopes it will raise awareness about pollution and help in adding an element of green in these cities. At Hyderabad, the drive was held at NTR Marg and Lumbini River. The event was attended by people from across the city. UrbanClap’s city GM, Aneesh Gulati, led the drive with UrbanClap’s partners and employees along with influencers and volunteers who signed up on the company’s social media platforms.
The cleanliness drive was also held across four other cities in the country, namely, Delhi (Connaught Place), Mumbai (Juhu Beach), Bangalore (Ulsoor Lake), and Pune (cleaning of Mula River bed in partnership with Jeevitnadi, an NGO), Additionally, a plantation drive was held in Manesar in Delhi NCR in collaboration with SankalpTaru, a non-profit organization.
