CM TAKES IMPORTANT DECISION IN REGARD TO RECRUITMENT OF TEACHERS

Jaipur, 25 December,2019:  Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot directed to give timely benefit to unemployed youth in government teacher recruitment along with providing them fair opportunity in various new recruitments. Shri Gehlot during a meeting with officers of the education department on Tuesday here at CMO, said that the government's intention is to fill the vacant posts of teachers at the earliest. 

New Lecturer Recruitment Exam in September

A decisionwas taken in the meeting that the Lecturer Recruitment Examination-2018 for 5000 posts to be conducted on the scheduled date in the interest of lakhs of applicants preparing for exams for last two years and the lecturers available for the vacant posts for the new academic session starting in July 2020. It was also decided to start the process to conduct the new Lecturer Recruitment Examination during the forthcoming September month.Students studying in the current session will also become eligible for the new recruitment. Discussion was held with Rajasthan Public Service Commission and the Commission agreed to conduct this exam in September 2020.

REET to Be Held in August to Recruit 31,000 Teachers

It was also decided to conduct REET examination on August 2, 2020 to fill 31,000 posts of Grade-III teachers. With this, unemployed aspirants will get enough opportunity for employment. Looking to the demand of candidates from Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) area, 6,080 posts will remain reserved for the TSP candidates. 

Knowledge About Rajasthan should be included in Paper for Level-2

Decision was taken in the meeting that for the first time in the recruitment of Grade-III Level-2, it would be mandatory for the candidates to have thorough knowledge about the subject and about the State as they have to teach in far distant areas of the State. It was directed that content of question paper for Grade-III should be prepared in such a manner that the candidates have knowledge about Rajasthan. 

Minister of State for Education Shri Govind Singh Dotasara, Secretary Education Smt. Manju Rajpal and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
