Written & directed by Preeti Singh the movie is produced by jewellery designer turned producer – Vandana Mordani and stars AnuraagMalhan, Shweta Prasad Basu and Zarina Wahab in pivotal roles.

The story of ‘The Lovers’revolves around a married couple where the life of husband changed when his wife files a case against him under the act 498A, domestic violence. The story unfolds & conveys how lack of communication between parents & children destroys many lives in a marriage.

The lovers highlights that while dowry law can help many women it can also be turned against men who are not well versed with their rights.
