Kingfisher’s glamorous property, the illustrious Kingfisher Calendar has launched its 19th edition, which was shot amongst the picturesque emerald and deep blue serenity of God’s own country, Kerala, India. Known for its exotic locations and fabulous models, this year’s calendar is a tapestry of serenity and beauty, with a dash of glamour. Ace fashion photographer, Atul Kasbekar has intricately woven a narrative for the Kingfisher Calendar 2021 amongst the relaxed backwaters and lush greenery of the state. Featuring five enchanting beauties – Gehna Mahiarya, Krithika Babu, Anukreethy Vas, Adline Castelino and Sumita Bhandari; the Kingfisher Calendar 2021 is an epitome of panache and élan.

Talking about his experience on the making of the calendar, Atul Kasbekar commented, “We have shot the Kingfisher Calendar in India in the past in Ladakh, Andaman, Rajasthan, Goa and Kerala has always been on the top of my location list. The glorious state is truly God’s own country and it gives us many options to maneuver and choose locations accordingly. Given the massive number of water bodies it possesses, from the oceans to the backwaters and the lakes, it is a feast for a photographer. We were very keen to shoot locally this year and we could not have chosen a better location to be at. The people of the state are wonderfully warm, polite and keen to assist, along with the cuisine which is absolutely unbelievable.”

Gehna Mahiarya is an upcoming model from Udaipur, Rajasthan, who was found by Atul Kasbekar and was given the opportunity to enter into the world of glitz and glamour through the Kingfisher Calendar. Atul opines, as a model, she has good potential to reach greater heights and achieve various accolades to further flourish within the industry and her career. Gehna comments on her experience of shooting for the calendar, stating, “It was a blessing to be part of the prestigious Kingfisher Calendar 2021 and the experience of shooting for it was one of a kind.
