In an endeavour to strengthen the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative, leading on-demand fuel provider, The Fuel Delivery has launched its operations in pink city Jaipur today. With this, Jaipur has become the first city to welcome the franchise model by this startup. This franchise will be run by Army veteran Brigadier (Retd) Dharam Veer Singh who served in Indian Army for over 34 years. Brigadier Jitendra Singh Bisht, SM, Deputy GOC & Station Commander, Jaipur Military Base graced the occasion as chief guest to encourage his former colleague and friend. He also congratulated The Fuel Delivery team in their effort to empower job creation by partnering with veterans.
Speaking on the launch, Mr Rakshit Mathur, Founder and CEO, The Fuel Delivery, said, “We’re extremely proud to be associated with DV Singh, an Army veteran who’ll be running our operations in Jaipur. Ever since its inception in 2020, The Fuel Delivery has delivered over 2mn litres of high quality diesel across real estate, hospitality, aviation, retail etc. Recently, the startup has raised seed funding worth 1 million USD and further aims to secure Series –A funding.
The Fuel Delivery aims to expand its network across India and will be launching its operations in Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Goa, and Chandigarh in the next six months. At present, it is operational in Delhi NCR Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and Jaipur. The startup has been awarded with the "Indian Achievers' Award for Promising Start-Up, 2021 and Mr. Rakshit Mathur was recently honored with Bharat Jyoti Awards.
