A brainchild of Chairperson Ms. Devyani Jaipuria, the run has been undertaken in tandem with her belief that fitness and awareness about fitness must start from schools.

Talking about the event, Ms. Devyani Jaipuria, Chairperson, Dharav High School, said, “Run for Her is a first-of-its-kind initiative to be organised in Jaipur. At Dharav High School, we promote a holistic education where sports play an integral part in students’ learning outcomes. We believe that awareness about fitness as well as sensitizing students towards women’s issues should start at a young age. The overwhelming amount of registrations that we have received have assured us that parents echo our beliefs as well.”
