A Kathak danseuse, Guru, choreographer, drama instructor and art administrator, Dr. Parul Purohit Vats possesses a remarkable talent for dance, bestowed upon her by divine forces. At a very young age, Parul has acquired an impressive track record, having graced both national and international stages, receiving numerous awards and accolades, including a PhD on the relationship between "Kathak, Krishna and Thumri".

As an educator Dr. Parul Purohit Vats has an equally impressive record. She worked as the Cultural coordinator at the Prestigious Swedish school Kunskapsskolan, where she not only developed performing arts centric curriculum but also trained teachers. She was a drama instructor at the British Council Library before joining the renowned institution of Performing Arts, Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra as a principal. With these strong academic and administrative opportunities, Parul went further with her studies and cleared her grade 8 in Performance Arts from Trinity College London.

In her current role as the Dean of the School of Performing Arts at the World University of Design Sonepat, Dr. Parul is committed to creating an innovative department that embraces an interdisciplinary approach,fostering connections among the fields of arts, architecture, and design, with the ultimate goal of making performing arts a viable and attractive career choice for young individuals.
