Jaipur, June 2025.
A spiritually enriching two-day Hawan, organized by Kashmiri
Visthapit Hindu Samiti, Jaipur, commenced on June 2nd and concluded on June 3rd
with the sacred offering of Puran Aahuti. The event drew a large number of
devotees and community members, uniting them in a profound celebration of
faith, culture, and solidarity.
The ceremony featured traditional Vedic rituals and
collective prayers, invoking peace, prosperity, and well-being for all. A key
highlight of this year’s gathering was the performance by the Kashmiri Cultural
Mandli, whose soulful devotional songs and traditional bhajans beautifully
reflected the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of Kashmir. Their presence
added a vibrant and emotional depth to the proceedings, making the event
especially memorable.
A Medical Camp was also organized as part of the event, where
the significance of alkaline water and its health benefits was shared with
attendees.
Organizers and community leaders expressed heartfelt
gratitude to all those who participated and contributed to the success of the
ceremony. “This Hawan is not merely a religious ritual—it is a reaffirmation of
our roots, values, and collective strength,” said one of the organizers. “The
Cultural Mandli’s performance served as a powerful reminder of our proud
heritage.”
However, the celebrations were touched with sorrow due to the
recent Pahalgam Massacre, in which innocent lives were tragically lost. Special
prayers were offered during the Hawan for the souls of the martyrs, reflecting
the community’s shared grief and resilience.
The event concluded with the sacred Puran Aahuti, followed by
the distribution of prasad and a communal langar, fostering the spirit of
unity, devotion, and selfless service.
