Jaipur, January 2026.
Girnar Foundation, the CSR arm of CarDekho Group, recently
organized a series of community-focused initiatives like its flagship Warm Care
Drive and education-led programs across Jaipur and Gurugram. As winter sets in
across North India, the Foundation distributed over 400 winter essentials,
including sweaters and winter kits, to children from underserved communities.
The initiative aimed to ensure warmth, comfort, and dignity for children during
the colder months, while reinforcing the importance of collective care and
social responsibility.
In addition to winter relief, Girnar Foundation continued its
quarterly commitment towards strengthening access to education and health. As
part of its Shiksha Ka Tohfa initiative, the Foundation provided stationery
supplies to students at Mahatma Gandhi Government School in Jaipur, helping
ensure uninterrupted learning. Simultaneously, under the Female Health Matters
program, the team distributed sanitary supplies to adolescent girls, promoting
menstrual health awareness and wellbeing.
These initiatives, closely aligned with the Foundation’s
adopted United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—SDG 3: Good Health
& Well-being, SDG 4: Quality Education, and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities,
reflected its commitment to creating long-term, inclusive impact within
communities.
Pihu Jain, Head of Girnar Foundation, said, “The festive season is a reminder
that care, compassion, and shared responsibility lie at the heart of meaningful
impact. Through our winter relief, education, and health initiatives, we aim to
create dignity-driven support for children and communities that need it the
most. As we close the year, we remain focused on delivering consistent,
grassroots impact that extends warmth, opportunity, and hope beyond the
season.”
Anchored in the festive spirit of care and giving, Girnar
Foundation’s year-end initiatives reinforce its mission to drive sustainable,
grassroots impact across education, health, and child welfare, one initiative
at a time.
