Jaipur,
March 2026.
Celebrating
the spirit of empowerment and community upliftment, Girnar Foundation organized
a special Women’s Day initiative at the Pragya Niketan Knowledge Centre in
Jaipur. The initiative engaged around 200 participants, including 100 girls and
their female family members. They organized interactive sessions focused on communication skills and confidence building, conducted by
faculty members from CollegeDekho. The session aimed to help participants
strengthen their self-expression, build confidence, and develop practical
skills to support their personal growth and future aspirations.
The
program featured interactive games and engagement activities designed to
encourage participation, build self-belief, and foster a supportive learning
environment. As part of the initiative, Girnar Foundation also organized a
sanitary donation drive, promoting menstrual hygiene awareness and supporting
the health and well-being of the attendees.
Speaking
about the initiative, Pihu Jain, Head, Girnar Foundation said: "Women’s
empowerment begins with creating spaces where girls and women feel heard,
supported, and confident about their potential. This Women’s Day, aimed to go
beyond celebration and focus on building skills that truly enable empowerment.
Communication and confidence are powerful tools that help young girls express
their ideas, pursue opportunities, and shape their own futures. Through these
sessions, we hope to inspire a sense of self-belief that stays with them long
after the session ends.”
This
initiative aligns with Girnar Foundation’s commitment to advancing the United
Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), particularly SDG 3
(Good Health & Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG
5 (Gender Equality).
By
combining skill development with health awareness, the initiative underscores
the Foundation’s efforts to create meaningful social impact and empower women
to lead more confident and independent lives.
