Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt. Ltd. today announced the arrival of its All India
‘Xplore India on XSR’ campaign in Jaipur, marking another significant milestone
in the ongoing customer journey initiative that celebrates the spirit of
exploration, unity and motorcycling passion across the country. Having
commenced from Srinagar in Jammu & Kashmiron 2nd June 2026, the riders have
successfully covered 1,300 kilometres, traversing key destinations, Amritsar, Attari, Ludhiana and Delhi, as
they continue their 21-day, approximately 6,000-kilometre journey towards Kanniyakumari.
Conceptualized
as a symbolic journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, the initiative aims to bring
riders together across the country while celebrating India’s rich cultural
landscape, highlighting the shared bond that motorcycling creates beyond
regions, languages and backgrounds. The journey is being undertaken by
passionate riders embracing the spirit of adventure, with the Yamaha
modern-retro sport XSR155 accompanying them, a motorcycle that seamlessly
blends timeless design with modern engineering.
As
part of the Jaipur leg of the journey, Yamaha organized a special XSR Café
Meet-Up, bringing together the growing community of XSR enthusiasts in the
region. The meet-up saw the participation of 40 XSR155 riders in the Pink City, gathering to
welcome and interact with the fellow XSR155 riders undertaking the
cross-country expedition. An integral part of the ‘Xplore India on XSR’
campaign, through these engagements, Yamaha aims to further strengthen its Blue
Streaks Community – an initiative that brings together Yamaha riders from
diverse backgrounds, united by their shared passion for motorcycling and love
for the Yamaha brand – that creates a lasting connections and lifelong Yamaha
ambassadors.
As
the riders continue their journey across highways, mountain roads, urban
environments and coastal stretches, the initiative highlights not only the
endurance of the motorcycle but also the passion and adventurous spirit that
define both Yamaha and its riders.
The
XSR155 is Yamaha’s modern-retro sport motorcycle powered by a 155cc
liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve engine with Variable Valve Actuation
(VVA) and built on Yamaha’s proven Deltabox frame. The motorcycle is equipped
with features such as Traction Control System (TCS) and an Assist & Slipper
clutch. Together, these deliver a well-balanced combination of performance,
agility and rider confidence, making it ideally suited for long-distance
touring across varied road and weather conditions.
