Taking forward the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi of empowering the youth with skill development programmes, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), through its strategic implementation and knowledge partner, The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is organising its mega recruitment drive, Kaushal Mahotsav on Thursday and Friday, January 5th & 6th 2023, at Kumbha Stadium situated in Bundi, Rajasthan. The mela is envisaged as an impetus in increasing apprenticeships, providing relevant job opportunities to the youth of Rajasthan, and facilitating economic growth in the State. Lok Sabha speaker Shri Om Birla will inaugurate the program and will also be the Chief Guest for the concluding ceremony.

Lok Sabha speaker Shri Om Birlabelieves that, “The youth of Bundi, Kota &Hadoti has immense potential and harnessing their talent with the right opportunities to foster economic development, and nation-building is paramount. The Kaushal Mahotsav is indeed a momentous step to empower the talented youth of Rajasthan, which will bridge the demand and supply gap of employment by providing a unique platform for skilled youth to reach out to recruiters and gain instant employment offers. The Kaushal Mahotsav integrates Rajasthan as an active participant in national development and gives the youth a chance to raise their quality of life and build a stable life for themselves”.

The candidates can register on the Kaushal Mahotsav website https://kaushalmahotsav.nsdcdigital.org/and can apply/schedule for their interviews across opportunities listed on the portal from 50+ companies from 20+ sectors like F&B, Textile, Beauty and Wellness, Healthcare, IT and others. The event will feature the participation of several renowned companies, and the candidates can apply for jobs beforehand. Further, the shortlisted participants will be interviewed on the spot at the Kaushal Mahotsav.  

Candidates must have a minimum age of 18 years for Jobs opportunities and 14 years for apprenticeship opportunities. Any candidate who is 12^th pass, ITI Diploma holders or graduates can apply for the Kaushal Mahotsav. The candidates must carry a copy of their photo ID’s to the respective venue.

Several Sector Skill Councils (SSCs) and companies will also exhibit their offerings through a Skill Exhibition, raising awareness about skill development for the youth. Candidates will also have an opportunity to take a free psychometric test, participate in group counselling and gather information about different career modules to shape their careersThe event will also feature experts, motivational speakers, and career advisors to help candidates make informed decisions to boost their professional growth and development.

The students who clear the recruitment drive will receive the Letter of Intent from Lok Sabha speaker Shri Om Birla, who will be the Chief Guest at the concluding ceremony of the event.
