Aligning
with the commitment of Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi to
mushrooming employment prospects for India’s youth at the regional level, the
Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), in collaboration
with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), organized Kaushal Mahotsav
at Kumbha Stadium in Bundi, Rajasthan.
Around 14,000 candidates had
registered for the Kaushal Mahotsavand close to 1200 candidates received offer
letters during the event. More than 100 candidateshanded overjoboffers during
the closing ceremony at Kumba Stadium.Shri Ashok Dogra, MLA, Bundiprovided the offer
lettersto the candidates who have been selected by reputed corporates like Flipkart,
Tata Capital Financial Services,ICICI, Reliance Trends, Dainik Bhaskar, FINTEX,
a prominentcompany in textile, and others.
The offer letter was given by
chief guest Shri Ashok Dogra, MLA,Bundi. Smt. Madhu Nuwal,Sabhapati, Nagar
Parishad, Bundi and Ravindra Goswami, District Collector, Bundialso addressed
the event.
The giant recruitmentevent
witnessed the participation of over 85 companies representing sectors like hospitality,
automobile, finance, banking, food processing and others to provide relevant
job and hands-on-apprenticeship opportunities to numerous participants in the
state.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri
Ashok Dogra, MLA, Bundi,extended his gratitude towards Shri Om Birla, Hon’ble Speaker,
Lok Sabhafor organizing the Kaushal Mahotsav. Due to his efforts, over 85reputed
organizations from across the country came to Bundi to provide job
opportunities to our potential youth. Some of the candidates could not attend
the event due to bad climate conditions and for this, NSDC is planning to
conduct online interviews for these candidates and for the employers to provide
them with an easy access to hire the right talent and contribute towards
India’s skilled workforce. This initiative is yet another step in the direction
of building Aatmanirbhar Bharat by strengthening the capabilities of Bundi’s
youth and providing them with a well-rounded platform to receive relevant
prospects for future growth.
Several Sector Skill Councils
(SSCs) and companies exhibited their offerings through a Skill Exhibition,
raising awareness about skill development for the youth. The candidates also
got an opportunity to take a free psychometric test and participate in group
counselling to get a better perspective on shaping their careers.
The event also featured
experts, motivational speakers, and career advisors who helped candidates in
making informed decisions to boost their professional growth and development.
The candidate who missed leveraging the opportunities were informed to register
on kaushalmahotsav.nsdc digital.org and apply for opportunities for suitable job
roles and also avail of the option of online counselling.
