Delhi, November 19, 2019: In an important step towards inclusive growth and entrepreneurship and employment development in the society, National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) in collaboration with Inclusive Divyangjan Entrepreneur Association (IDEA), is organizing Divya Kaushal - National Job Fair & Ability Expo exclusively for the specially-abled at Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences, in Dwarka, New Delhi, on 2nd and 3rd December.

 Besides offering the specially-abled a chance to explore new avenues, the two-day Rozgar Mela will also allow organisations to meet potential employees. A number of leading companies, including Wipro, Reliance Lifestyle, Radisson Blu, Big Bazaar, Lemon Tree, Vishal Megamart, HUL, Double Tree and Future Generali, are set to participate in the event. The Ability Expo will also have an Entrepreneurship Pavilion led by National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC) that includes loan fair, franchisee opportunities, mentorship, Divyangjan entrepreneurs and an opportunity for established brands to showcase their work. Kaushal Haat pavilion will have opportunities for counselling and skill training for different disability categories.

 There shall be several case studies of Divyangjan enterprises such as Microsign Industries, corporates can provide franchise of their business and outsourcing opportunity for Divyangjan, seminar and workshops on economic empowerment of Divyangjan will be organised to inspire the youth and industry. Participants will also get the opportunity to avail of counselling sessions and motivational speaker sessions to guide them. NSDC’s skill and training partners will share information about their courses for Divyangjan.

 A competition will be organised for Divyangjan to display innovative ideas/ business plans. Winners will be awarded cash prizes and provided mentoring support. Notable Divyangjan Skill Experts from different fields will be felicitated as Kaushalacharyas.
