Jaipur, 23 October, 2019: Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has said that the state government is making an environment favourable for setting up more and more industries in Rajasthan. For the convenience of entrepreneurs and businessmen here, the government would rework on the single window system to make it robust and transparent. He directed the officials to implement a revised version of the single window system by this year end.

Shri Gehlot was chairing the review meeting of Industries department at Chief Minister Office on Tuesday. He said that amendments in the single window system would keep the entrepreneurs at ease for setting up their venture as they had to apply at a single desk.

The CM directed the RIICO officials to prepare long-term policy for the new industrial zones so that the investors could get land for establishing their industries at suitable location and affordable rates. This would help in creating a favorable environment for industries and thus create more and more job opportunities. The policy should have the provisions for safeguarding the interests of workers and labour employed therein in the event of dissolution of an industrial unit.

The officials stated in the meeting that the reworked single window system would be a One-stop Solution for the businessmen. For this, all procedural formalities would be finalized soon.

Chief Minister also enquired about the investment proposal received from MSME entrepreneurs after removing difficulties in the MSME Act. He said that officers should talk to the entrepreneurs who received online certificates under this Act and share their experiences. He asked them to remove difficulties, if any, faced by the investors in extension of their work and establishment.

Industries Minister Shri Parsadi Lal Meena, Minister of State for Industries Shri Arjun Singh Bamniya, officials of the Industries department, RIICO and BIP were present in the meeting.
