Private Limited (OUS), a wholly owned subsidiary of OptiemusInfracom Limited (a
leading telecommunications and electronics manufacturing group in India), today
announced its partnership with LS Spectrum Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a leading
provider of advanced drone-based spectrum analyzers and a subsidiary of
Germany-based LS Telecom AG for the marketing, assembly, and distribution of LS
Spectrum’s cutting-edge drone-based spectrum analysis solutions within the
Indian market. Giving further momentum to its Drone business and ‘Make in
India’, Optiemus’ partnership with LS Spectrum will be a game changer for its
defence offerings and will provide the company a significant edge in the market.This
partnership has the potential to extend beyond drone-based solutions, delving
into the market for managing, observing and defence of Spectrum through various
capabilities like spectrum surveillance, direction finding and geolocation, Electronic
Support Measures, Signals Intelligence, Electronic Counter Measures, etc.
Through this strategic
partnership, initially Optiemus will sell the advanced spectrum analyser drones
for LS Spectrum. Theseproducts are poised to transform spectrum monitoring
across multiple sectorsespecially in defence.LS Spectrum brings to the table its
deep expertise in spectrum analysis technology to deliver value to the India
Market and meet the objectives of ‘Make In India’.These droneswill support
seamless detection and analysis of spectrum usage, enabling improved management
of communication frequencies in India.
The partnership reflects a
commitment for both the companies to contribute towards the deploying of state-of-the-art
telecom and drone-based solutions for the Indian market. Leveraging its local
expertise and infrastructure, OUS will cater to a wide range of
sectors—including telecommunications, defense, homeland security, and civil
aviation—empowering Indian organizations with cost-effective, precise and innovative
solutions tailored for spectrum analysis and monitoring.

partnership, we will be also looking at developing solutions to address the
issue of unauthorized cellular activity, such as illicit communications

The UAVs will enable
real-time monitoring of communication frequencies, which is critical for
managing spectrum resources, especially in high-demand areas like
telecommunications and civil aviation. Additionally, they will be able to enhance
security by allowing defence and homeland security sectors to conduct
surveillance and detect unauthorized spectrum activities. By deploying drones
for spectrum analysis, organizations can operate efficiently in challenging
environments, realizing significant time and cost savings compared to
traditional spectrum monitoring methods. As per the recent EY - FICCI report
titled, “Making India the drone hub of the world”, the drone and its components
industry can significantly strengthen India's manufacturing potential to US$23
billion approximately by 2030.
